Q: Did Bayside Rock used to be somewhere else? A: No. Bayside Rock is a brand new and exciting facility built to the latest Australian Standards.

Q: What are the Bayside Rock trading hours? A: Currently our opening hours are as follows- Mon to Fri - 4pm to 9:30pm. Saturdays- 10am to 5pm. Sundays & Public Holidays- 12pm to 5pm. SCHOOL HOLIDAY HOURS- 12pm to 9:30pm Weekdays, 10am to 5pm Saturdays and 12pm to 5pm Sundays. GROUP BOOKINGS AVAILABLE MOST OTHER TIMES!

Q: What is the youngest age a child can climb? A: We recommend that 5 is the youngest age for climbers, In some cases a child as young as 3 may be able to fit our specially designed kids full body safety harness. So as long as they fit the safety harness, are adventurous and outgoing then they can give it a go!

Q: What should I or my kids wear to climb? A: Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move (no skirts or dresses). Fully enclosed shoes are required if climbing.

Q: Is there a time limit to the climbing? A: Yes. Climb Time is limited to 1 hour. All other climbing is limited to a 2 hour session.

Q: Where are you located? I cant find you on my map or GPS! A: Bayside Rock is located in an exciting new development at the end of Eastlink. As it is new it is not listed in old maps and outdated GPS maps. You can find the latest map and contact details. Here

Q: How do I go about lead climbing at Bayside Rock for the first time? A: As long as you are a proficient lead climber, you can be tested most nights of the week. Call ahead if your super keen. PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO LEAD CHECKS ON WEEKENDS OR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Due to safety resons, not everyone passes their lead test on the first time. Many people have bad habits that take some time to correct. Never lead before? Thats fine, we run Learn To Lead Courses to show you everything involved. Here Please Note:If your really keen for a lead check, your best bet is to call ahead... No stress if you cant lead on your first visit, we have HEAPS to challenge you elsewhere!
